He was predeceased by: his parents, Bronislaw (Benjamin) and Casimira (Katherine); his wife Elizabeth Szczesny; and his siblings, Henrietta, Jane, Jessie C. Von Hagen, Florence, Theresa, Ben Szczesny and Adrianne Szczesna (Adele Ann).
He is survived by: his son Joseph Charles Maiden Szczesny (Vasiliki); and his grandchildren, Tony Szczesny (Rachel), Darlene Viera (Luis), Robert Szczesny (Nichole), Brooke Morella Szczesny, Maria Elizabeth Parrott (James Kyle) and Joseph Constantine Szczesny. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
