She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Grayson Yates and Grace Carty Yates; and her husband R. C. Hay. She is survived by: her son Ryan Conor Hay; her daughter-in-law Irene Hay; her grandchildren, Gabriella Cheatwood and Andrew Cheatwood (Tillie); and her great grandchildren, Amelia and Adeline Cheatwood.
