He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Atkins and Willie Mae Burroughs Threlkeld; his brother James Ray Threlkeld; and his sister-in-law Janice Threlkeld. He is survived by: his wife Suzie Harris Threlkeld; his children, Dawn Kegley (Dickie) and Todd Threlkeld (Bambi); his grandchildren, Kalah Threlkeld Gonzalez (Brandon), Eric Kegley, Brandon Kegley (Shawnee), Megan Threlkeld, Paige Blevins (Joe) and Samuel Threlkeld; his brother Billy Cooper Threlkeld (Imogene); and his cousin David Burroughs (Laurie). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and his best friend on four legs Buddy.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Bradley's Funeral Chapel (307 Old Stage Rd, Chilhowie, VA 24319). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
