He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph McCroskey and Lala McCroskey; his son James Lee McCroskey; and his brothers, Jack McCroskey and Fred McCroskey.
He is survived by: his wife Rose Peters McCroskey; his brother Spurgeon McCroskey (Pat); and his sister-in-law Patsy McCroskey. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Frost Funeral Home (250 E Main St, Abingdon, VA 24210). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
Flowers will be accepted as well as donations to Valley View Missionary Baptist Church.
