He was predeceased by: his father James B. Spivey Sr.. He is survived by: his mother Alice Spivey; his wife Vickie Spivey; his children, Jameson Spivey (Tyler) and Elizabeth Stevens (Brett Stevens); his granddaughter Brynleigh Stevens; and his sisters, Deborah Quillen (Sam) and Shelia Hood (Roy). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
