She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Lynch and Ada Hawk Lynch; and her siblings, Daniel Noble Lynch, James Lynch, Dennis Lynch, Mable Lynch Presnell, Mary Evelyn Lynch Burr and Francis "Tootsie" Lynch Johnson.
She is survived by: her husband Samuel McCoy, Sr.; her sons, Samuel McCoy, Jr. and Jeffrey McCoy (Lesia); her grandchildren, Misty McCoy, Heather McCoy Gallo, Shane Aaron McCoy and Jonathan McCoy; her great grandchildren, Sallie McCoy, Seth Spears and Katie Gallo; her great great grandchildren, Serenity Welch and Reese Cofer; and her brother Greg Lynch. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Farris Funeral Service – Main Street Chapel (427 E Main St, Abingdon, VA 24210). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 10:45 AM and from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
