He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Y. Flanagan Sr. and Jean Johnson Flanagan; and his brother Ellis. He is survived by: his wife Sue B Flanagan; his daughter Missie Flanagan Cullop (Michael); his sisters, Linda L. Flanagan and Betty F. Webb (Ronnie); his sister-in-law Ann B Williamson (Skeeter Gardner); and his grandson Chase Cullop (Lorna).
Visitation was held on Thursday, October 17th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Frost Funeral Home (250 E Main St, Abingdon, VA 24210). A funeral service was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers he asked that donations be made to Duck Unlimited in his memory.
