He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Vetta Dunaway; his wife Masel; his siblings, Charles, Lexie, Mildred and Virginia; his children, Cheri (Laramie Triplett) and Lendy Dunaway (Cammie); his grandchildren, Zane Triplett, Alyssa (James Lampl) and Davis Dunaway; his great grandchild Hunter Lampl; his sister Dorothy Mcgehee; and also Kyle Bomar.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations be made in his memory to Abingdon Baptist Church.
