He was predeceased by: his parents, Vince Salyer and Virginia Dean Salyer. He is survived by: his wife Michelle Taylor Salyer; his children, Steven Salyer (Amy), Keishia Taylor (Nathan) and Shadow Cantrell (Cory); his siblings, Donna Greer, Diane Wise, Gail Powers and Mitch Salyer (Teresa); and his grandchildren, Kaylee Cantrell, Baylee Cantrell, Avery Haywood, River Rasnake, Ryleigh Cantrell, Easton Cantrell and Rayden Wampler. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and special friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Frost Funeral Home (250 E Main St, Abingdon, VA 24210). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, September 25th 2024 at 7:00 PM and on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM. A burial was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 at 11:45 PM.
