He was predeceased by: his parents, Fitch Nunley and Audrey Nunley; his brother Wiley Nunley; his grandsons, David Nunley III and Brandon Hammonds; and his great grandchild Davina Walker.
He is survived by: his wife Theresa Nunley; his children, Melissa Philippi, David Nunley Jr. (Jonnie) and Travis Nunley; his grandchildren, Crystal Nunley, Brittany Walker (Austin), Ashley Nunley, Josh Carrier (Hannah), Mariah Malone, Janathan Hammonds, River Malone and Matthew Nunley; and his siblings, Sue Haygood, Joe Nunley (Chris), Ben Nunley (Pauline) and Don Nunley (Barbara). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
