He was predeceased by: his mother Deborah Owens Otey; his grandmother Edith Owens; and his close friend Jimmy Hayes. He is survived by: his father Frederick "Freddy" Otey; his son Caydence McDonald; his close friend Tracy Garrett; and his aunts and uncles, Kenneth Owens, Lou Owens, Danny Otey (Brenda), Carl Otey Danny Owens (Debbie), Carolyn Henson, Ann Shaw (Gary), Brenda Debord (Hershal) and Kathy Otey. He is also survived by several cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Frost Funeral Home (250 E Main St, Abingdon, VA 24210). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Frost Funeral Home Chapel (250 E Main St, Abingdon, VA 24210).
