He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernie Davis and Pauline Davis; and his brothers, Timothy and Scott Davis. He is survived by: the mother of his children Brenda Diane Church Davis of Abingdon, VA; his children, Dr. Heather Parker (Darren) of Nashville, TN, Mica Rivera (Ricardo) of Abingdon, VA, Johanan Davis (Rebecca) of Johnson City, TN and Matthew Davis of Abingdon, VA; his brothers, Cameron Davis of Grundy, VA and Johnny Davis of Coal Mountain, WV.; and his grandchildren, Gabriella Morales and Vashti Rivera.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Shortridge-Ramey Funeral Home (1021 Six And Twenty Mile Br Rd, Grundy, VA 24614). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 1st 2024 at 7:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Palm Memorial Gardens (9051 Appalachian Hwy, Matheny, WV 24860). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Weo Church (1035 Englewood Dr, Grundy, VA 24614).
