It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carrie Lee Vance Wilburn (Abingdon, Virginia), who passed away on October 1, 2018, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Claude, Pricie, James, Evelyn, Horace, Reba, Sylvia, Mary, Charles and Ida Jean.
She is survived by: her husband Dan E. Wilburn, Sr.; her children, Dan Wilburn, Jr. (Marian) of Bristol and Brenda Vernon (Monty) of Abingdon; her siblings, Harry Vance of Justice, W. V and Janice McCrary of Lebanon, Tenn.; her grandchildren, Dan "Trey" Wilburn, III (Carrie), Leann Vernon, Mark Vernon (Jennifer) and Jeffrey Vernon (Amanda); and her great grandchildren, Chloe, Ian, Emily, Tyler and Abigail Vernon.
