She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Vaughn Boyd and Audrey Marie Martin Boyd; her husband Albert Thurman Lawson, Sr.; and her brother Franklin H. Boyd. She is survived by: her children, Albert "A. J." Lawson, Jr. (Charlotte "Janie") of Abingdon, VA, Anthony "Todd" Lawson (Lisa) of Andrews, TX and Tammy Lawson Larkey (Eric) of Johnson City, TN; her brothers, Harry Lee Boyd (Connie) and Steve Boyd (Vickie); her grandchildren, Cody Thompson (Rachel), Adam Larkey (Katie), Rebekah Taylor Lawson White (Brycen), Sarah Grace Larkey, Jacob Lawson, Albert "Ethan" Lawson, Emily Lawson and Jaheim Nelson; and her great grandchildren, Rafferty Thompson, Carter White, Tennison Thompson and Connor White. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Forest Hills Memory Gardens (19415 Lee Hwy, Abingdon, VA 24210).
