With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bobby Lewis Sherrill of Abingdon, Virginia, who passed away on February 26, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Bobby Lewis departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Bobby Lewis may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Bobby Lewis leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Sherrill and Faye Ruth Poovey Sherrill of Stephen's High School. He is survived by: his wife Anna Jo Hurley Sherrill; his stepdaughter Lisa Hamilton (Bobby) of Denver, CO; and his brother Allen Sherrill.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pleasant View Church (18416 Lee Hwy, Abingdon, VA 24210). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, March 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
