He is survived by: his mother Mary Lane Doss of Chilhowie, Virginia; his close friend Amy Mize of Marion, Virginia; his children, Tyler Doss (Kendall) of Knoxville, Tennessee and Mary Taylor Doss of Florence, Kentucky; his siblings, Donna Miller (Jerry) of Abingdon, Debbie Stuart (Tony) of Greeneville, Tennessee, Jim Doss of Chilhowie and Michael Doss; and his pet Sammy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and also leaves behind his beloved animal companions.
