Dero Roger Gertsch Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 28, 2024, at the age of 73, Dero Roger Gertsch (Woods Cross, Utah), born in Salt Lake City, Utah passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Dero Roger leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Carl and Theresia Bertram Gertsch; his wife Leslie H. Gertsch; his daughter Kerri Ann Gertsch; his son-in-law James Schofield; and his brother Steven Gertsch.
He is survived by: his children, Kathryn Elayne Schofield Balzly (late Jim Schofield), Samuel Benjamin Gertsch (Kristine), Alexander Dero Gertsch and Elora Theresia Gertsch. He is also survived by his four children, thirteen grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the LDS Chapel (800 W 1500 S, Woods Cross, UT 84087).
