He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Ellis Ranks and Laura Baker Jackman; his wife Georgann (Nelson); and his children, Danielle Kidd (Richard), Christianne Crump (Steven), Eric Ranks (Maureen) and Renee Nicole Crabtree (Brent). He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren.
