He was predeceased by: his father Richard Francis Petersen; and his sister-in-law Janie Petersen. He is survived by: his mother Joyce Ruth Moss Petersen; his wife Jodi Lynn Deering Petersen; his sons, Christopher Petersen, Zachary Petersen, Josh Petersen and Tyler Petersen; and his siblings, Carey Petersen and Susan Peterson (Walt).
