He was predeceased by: his parents, Gary Conroy Poowegup, Sr. and Rose Betty Nish; his sons, Dovon and Waylon Poowegup; his siblings, Athelia Poowegup and Bradley Poowegup; his nephews, Charles "Bigg" Reed, Jr. and Richard Pargeets, Jr.; and his niece Celeste Poowegup.
He is survived by: his former wives, Rose Salcinus and Janice Silk; his children, Ryan Poowegup (Rachell), Garrie Poowegup (Independence), Ronald DesJarlais, Charles Headdress, Sheryle DesJarlais, John (Joseph Amillategui), Yolena Sorenson (Vernal), Raelene Havatone (Dilly) of Parker, AZ, Wendell Havatone, Sr. (Jerry Havatone), Kimberly Havatone (Roosevelt) and Leandrea Venagas (Phoenix); and his brother JD Poowegup. He is also survived by 34 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and other relatives.
