He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas William Mitchell and Ida Beth Cunningham Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Joan Mitchell; and his children, Corey Scott (Tina), Michelle (Caleb), Jared (Harmony) and Tiffany (Shawn). He is also survived by his 11 grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (3676 W 4700 S, West Valley City, UT 84129). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, July 31st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, July 31st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery (1950 Dimple Dell Ln, Sandy, UT 84092).
