He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis E. Mietchen and Myrtle V. Durgan Mietchen; his parents-in-law, Rhea and Tom Worthen; his brothers, Jerome (LaRue), Raymond (Colleen) and Earl (Darlene); and his sister-in-law Lois Worthen.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Mietchen; his children, Scott Mietchen (Lisa) and Missy Mietchen Ringwood; his grandchildren, Abby Allen (Luke), Alex Mietchen (Cheyanne), Ryan and Shawn Ringwood; his great grandchildren, Will and Sophie Allen; his pet Carter; his brother Bruce; and his siblings-in-law, Pam Worthen and Tom Worthen. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Valley View Funeral Home (4335 W 4100 S, West Valley City, UT 84120).
