He was predeceased by: his siblings, Steven Bailey and Larry Bailey; his wife Carol; his daughters, Barbara and Ronda; and his grandchildren, Brandon, Ralph O., Mary Ann, Jesse, Aubrey and Kenny.

He is survived by: his children, Kenny Lair (Ronda), Howard Bailey (Glenda), Bobby DeMent (Barbara), Bryan Bailey and Phyllis Rolfe. He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandson.
