She was predeceased by: her husband Jerry Van Gerven; and her children, Michael, Kevin and Teri. She is survived by: her daughter Connie Anderson; and her granddaughters, Mindi Barney (Darrell), Lindsey Finch (Tom) and Danyel Staley (Kody).
