He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Robert Schmid and Nellie Schmid; his spouse Jessie Pauline Hansen of Park City; his brother-in-law Eugene Bridges; his significant other Jessie Schmid; his grandfather Robert (Nellie); his siblings, Anna Vigos, Robert Schmid (Bobby), Alice Gortcinsky, Dorothy Gilgen, Zenna Mae Bridges, Julia Schmid, David Schmid, Ivins Schmid (Pinky), Nellie Conra Jensen (Connie) and Emma Lou Skinner; his grandchildren, Clements Schmid, Elizabeth Schmid and Brooks Butterfield; his son Perry (Nancy); his grandchildren, Ryan, Abigail and Alyssa; his daughter Susan Smith (Travis); his grandchildren, Atalee, Trevor and Isabelle; his son Steven (Katherine); his grandchildren, August (Megan), Eleanor and Ian; his daughter Colleen Butterfield (Bret); and his grandchildren, Jessica, Rachel and Kayci. He was also cherished by numerous in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.
