She was predeceased by: her parents, James Johnson and Betty Johnson; and her brother Glen Ralph Johnson. She is survived by: her children, Susan Espinoza (Manny), Duane McCully (Holly), David Hartman (Kara), Michael Espinoza, Heather Masterson (Kendle) and Manuela Rose Rugh (Landon); and her brother David George Johnson.

Viewing was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Grace Baptist Church (4737 W 4100 S, West Valley City, UT 84120). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.

Jo Ann Johnson, age 81, died in her sleep in Millcreek, Utah on December 8th, 2024 after a long battle with Alzheimer's disease.
