She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Thomas Nichols and Violet Evelyn Ross; her brother John Nichols (Sue); her daughter Jeannette Martinez (Tony); her parents-in-law, Reed McConkie and Jennie McConkie; and her siblings-in-law, Jennis (Grant Betts), Russel (Ila Rhae Gingell) and Victor Derhak (Pauline).
She is survived by: her husband Forrest Rick McConkie; her children, Charlene Valestin (Carl) and Matthew McConkie Saratoga Springs (TruLynn); her grandchildren, Nichelle Robbins Magna, Staci Patterson (Malichi), Christopher Martinez Magna, Michael Martinez Bountiful, Austin Valestin Layton and Jaden Black Meridian; and her great grandchildren, Atticus Robbins and Tobias Patterson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Valley View Funeral Home (4335 W 4100 S, West Valley City, UT 84120). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (6710 W 4145 S, West Valley City, UT 84128).
