He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles A. Wood and Thelma McBride Wood; his wife Gloria Hollingsworth; and his siblings, Hope, June, Bebe, Bill and Charles.

He is survived by: his children, Shauna Chagnovich (Marty), Lori Harrison (Doug) and Jack Brannon; and his brother Tom Wood (Janene). He is also survived by eight Grandchildren, eight Great Grandchildren.
