He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Paul Ruplinger and Millie Ruplinger; his family San Diego; his wife Joan Watson Ruplinger; his children, Adam Ruplinger, Seana Johnson (Hal) and Kari Cox (Gary); his sister Katherine Michelson; his brother-in-law Stan; and his caregiver Emily of Symbii. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren, and 6 great grandchildren.

He fought a long battle of Alzheimer's but now he is released from that mortal body and is free.
