She was predeceased by: her parents, LeRoy Applonie and Beverly Applonie; and her brother Hal Applonie. She is survived by: her children, Emmilee, Melissa, Mitchell and Shawn; and her husband Jw Smith.
She would often joke that she wanted to donate her body to science because she was half metal.
