She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman L. Burton and Ila V. Hedgepeth Burton; her significant other Russell H. Gailey; and her daughter Laurie Ann Gailey. She is survived by: her children, Terri Swensen (Alvin), Russell S. Gailey (Becky), Kay Lyn Hunsaker (Bart) and Julie Sanders (Marty). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary (400 N Main St, Kaysville, UT 84037). A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kaysville City Cemetery (500 E Crestwood Rd, Kaysville, UT 84037). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024.
Kay's contribution to life served more than her family, in showing kindness, compassion, and love with those she encountered.
