We are sad to announce that on April 26, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Tami Renae Mellin (West Jordan, Utah), born in Norfolk, Nebraska. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Adolph, Marceline Kruse, Joe and Evelyn Stella; and her aunts and uncles, Cheryl Kruse Schworer, JoEllen'Joey'Kruse, Michael Cooley, Kris, Jim Olesen and Ron Steenbock.

She is survived by: her parents, Ione Kay Olesen and Steven W. Olesen; her siblings, Teri Lynn Noble (Chad), Jeff Olesen (Connie) and Jay Olesen (Deb); her aunts and uncles, Debby Larson (Al), Judy Cooley (Kyle Tuton), Marlena Welter, Dennis Schworer (Diane), Steve Asmussen and Nancy Steenbock; her cousins, Andy Larson (Lindsey), Maddy Moses (Justin), Chad Cooley (Cinda), Skyler Kruse (Ashley), Jace Kruse, Ronnie Jean Welter, Matthew Schworer (Chip Crosby), Niki Shear (Ernie) and Denise Spilinek (Bryan); her husband Kenneth John Mellin; and her nieces and nephews, Zachary, Tanner Noble, Gabby, Xander Olesen and Evelyn'Evie'Olesen.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Mayo Clinic, Sojourner Center or a cancer research organization of your choosing.

In reading about her in the Verdigre Eagle, she sounded like a very delightful person. Seems like she made the most out of life which I hope will be a comfort to you.
