He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Johnson and Iris Johnson; and his brothers, Sylvan and Harvey. He is survived by: his children, Keith (Ashley), Nicole, Hannah (Brett), Sarah (Grant) and Luke (Rachel); and his grandchildren, Clark, Lucy, Luca, Clara, Isaac, Zoey, Eva, Proctor, Leon, Bairett, Xander and Willow. He is also survived by his thirteen siblings.
