It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Placido Ruiz-Ramirez (West Jordan, Utah), who passed away on October 13, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Froilan Ruiz and Agripina Ramirez; and his siblings, Evelio, Victor, Ana Ilba, Medardo, Carmen, Lucas, Gladys and Celina.
He is survived by: his wife Carmen Arellano of Ruiz; his children, Carolina, Luzmar, Karina, Placido and Juan Carlos; his in-laws, Jeraymir Izquierdo and Daylin Zarraga; his grandchildren, Carlos Luis, Luis David, Valeria, Nicole, Fabiana, Ashley, Carolina and Carlos Antoniel; and his siblings, Gricelda, Juvencio, Pascual and Ruiz Zambrano.
