With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Olivia Melesiu Katoa (West Jordan, Utah), born in Ogden, Utah, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 27, 2025. As we bid Olivia Melesiu farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Olivia Melesiu is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Simione Katoa and Christina Katoa; and her siblings, Tevita of Amaleki, MJ, Kuenileta, Isileli and Heikoti.
Viewing will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery (6500 S Redwood Rd, West Jordan, UT 84084). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
