It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Berg in West Jordan, Utah, who passed away on March 16, 2025, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Odes Record and Afton Record; and her husband Robert Berg. She is survived by: her children, Justin Berg [Selena], Jessica Neilson-Berg [Sally], Jeremy Berg [Jen] and Andy Berg [Alianna]; her grandchildren, Spencer, Madeline Annie, Lily, Jack, Katie, Lyla, Leo and Eliza; and her siblings, Stephen [Linda], Diane [Terry], Janice [Dan], Keith [Chris] and Sharon [Andy]. She is also survived by four children and later four daughters-in-law and nine grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:45 PM. A funeral service was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the LDS Chapel (3495 W 4850 S, Salt Lake City, UT 84129). A burial was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Valley View Memorial Park (4400 W 4100 S, West Valley City, UT 84120).
