He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" Shepherd and Lottie Shepherd; and his sisters, Carolyn Vincent and Noreta Stanezewski. He is survived by: his wife Mary Louise; his children, Susan Seow, Jill Barney (Jon), Michael Shepherd (Jennifer), Nancy Parker (Brendon), Mary Weir (Simon) and Jane Chan (Tim); and his sisters, Kim White and Janet Filion (Donald). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
