He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Lopez and Virgina Archibeque; his adoptive mother Lionor Rivera; his son Edward Lopez; and his grandchildren, Trinity Lopez and Lloyd Averett.
He is survived by: his wife Dolores Lopez; and his children, Pamela Guerin, Steve Lopez (Melissa), Dale Lopez (Tina) and Deborah Lopez. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
