It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ewald Walter Kuefner (West Jordan, Utah), who passed away on November 7, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fritz Paul Kuefner and Martha Kuefner; and his siblings-in-law, Myrna Kuefner and Vernon Turner. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Aloha Turner; his children, Irene Gomes (Albert), Dave Kuefner (Aubrey), Brenda Lybbert (Gale) and Duane Kuefner (Tammy); his brother Gerhard H. Kuefner; and his sisters-in-law, Annette Turner and Diane Turner. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (7645 S 3200 W, West Jordan, UT 84084). A burial was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at the Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery (6500 S Redwood Rd, West Jordan, UT 84084).
