It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Elifas Fresquez of West Jordan, Utah, born in Chamisal, New Mexico, who passed away on April 1, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, David Fresques and Eloyda Lopez; his wife Beatrice; his sons, Ernie, Rodney and Ranch; his granddaughter Brandy; and his brothers, Joe, Rueben, David and Benito.

He is survived by: his children, Dinah (Tom), Vicky (Mark) and Rick; his daughter-in-law Lori; and his siblings, Esther Ortega, Sadie Davis, Marietta Barton, Rosalyn Eichwald (Aaron), Bill (Dolores), Roy (Margie) and Ramona.
