He was predeceased by: his parents, Dan C. Sr. Simons and Sally J. Simons; his brother Doug; his niece Alexis; and his nephews, Bryan and Ian.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dan Jr. (Debra), Jolene, Mark (Julie), Debbie, Dorothy and Don (Paula). He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, and great nephews and nieces.
