He was predeceased by: his parents, Yoshitaka Sano and Masako Sano. He is survived by: his wife Mary Sano; his son D. Christopher Sano; and his grandchildren, Bambie, Joshua Childs, Emily Sano, Shin, Heather Sano, Sean and Lisa Sano. He is also survived by his eight great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the West Jordan City Cemetery (7800 S 1300 W, West Jordan, UT 84088). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the LDS Church (7580 Abbotsbury Ln, West Jordan, UT 84081).
