We bid farewell to Alton C Thacker of West Jordan, Utah, born in Duchesne, Utah, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 26, 2024 at the age of 89. Alton touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He is survived by: his daughter Ashley Krause (Jason); his wife Cheryl Kay Remington; his sister Anna Lee Mathews; and his children, Kim (Mike), David (Kelly), Todd (Carol), Russell (Staci), Hal (Bonnie) and Nicole. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren; and 63 great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 8:00 AM, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Mt. Emmons Cemetery (3700 N 16500 W, Altamont, UT 84001).
