He was predeceased by: his parents, George Malin and Verl Pearson Nelson; his sister Rita Adamavich; and his son Nathan Nelson. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Burnside; and his children, Marlin Brent Nelson (Kristin), Kimberly Cloney (Jerry) of San Rafael, CA, Shelly Dueri (Mark), Kevin Nelson (Robyn), Morgan, Melanie Healey (Tyler), Millcreek, Christopher Nelson (Madeleine), Vasterhaninge and Sweden. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren.
