He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clora Poppleton and Charles Parker Stuart; his siblings, Charles Poppleton Stuart, Mildred Stuart Richman, William Roy Poppleton Stuart and Joyce Stuart Haws; his children, Debra Stuart Haas (Robert), Wendy Stuart Dahle (DuWayne), Brett Stuart (Lela), Machelle Karpowich (Mark) and Cheyenne Moren (Charlie); and his siblings, Barbara Poppleton Pierce and Gordon Stuart. He was also cherished by 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren.
