He was predeceased by: his parents, Royal C. Bassett Jr. and Afton Peterson Bassett; and his siblings, Joyce Strebel (Robert) and Jarvis Bassett. He is survived by: his children, Tony Bassett (Kim), Scott Bassett (Julie), Brandon Bassett (Jennifer) and Amanda Bassett; and his siblings, Sharon Bassett, Bill Bassett, Shonie Harris (Robert) and Jimmy Bassett. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in memory of Warren at the American Hiking Society.
