He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles N. Maughan and Bertha P. Maughan; his children, Nathan and Peggy; and his grandchildren, Michelle and Cole.
He is survived by: his children, Pauline, Virgil, Bertha, Margaret, Connie, Gordon and Patsy; his wife Coralie; his children, Cindy (John Johnson), Zial Maughan (Salt), Mitchell (Molly Maughan), Perry (Debbie Maughan) and Leesa (Jeff Cooper); his children-in-law, David Bankhead and Angie Maughan of Georgia; and his sister Patsy of Orem.
