He is survived by: his mother Betty Bankhead; his wife Patty; his children, Diane Albrechtsen (Ken), Jay Bankhead (Uyen), Kurt Bankhead (Lindy), Kathy Jones (Kevin), Lisa Leishman (Jordan) and John Bankhead (Ashlie); and his sister Valoy Reese (Rick). He is also survived by 21 grandchildren.
