He is survived by: his wife DeLone Davis; his sister Carol Pilling (Doug); and his children, Vernon Lamar Davis Jr. (Valerie), Valena Karcich (Raymond), Dale Gene Davis, Todd J. Davis (Birdie) and Janell Norton (Chance). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
