She was predeceased by: her parents, Meril Emerson Mead and Ellen Lovina Workman Mead; her husband Willard LaVell Van Wagoner; her brother Jerry; her sister-in-law Sue; her daughter-in-law Anita; and her great grandchild Cole.

She is survived by: her children, Max of Wellington, UT, Kara (Jeff Hunt), Gerret (Myrna), Martin (Lori), Traci (Kurt Keller), Valyn (Chad Tucker), Jeanine (Bart Gardiner) and Wendy (Matt Horton); and her siblings, Sam, Ben, Neal, Leon, Eva, Wilma and Gayla. She is also survived by 48 grandchildren; 36 great-grandchildren.
